RS 660 Stereo Receiver
The RS 660 was one of Setton's first components, introduced in their first generation of gear for $900. Although Setton used "in-house" designers for the majority of their equipment, Lafayette designed the RS 660. With the exception of the faceplate, the Lafayette LR-9090 was identical to the RS 660.
Even though the RS 660 sold poorly, it is much more common than the X-rare BS 5500 and PS 5500. It had the same output power of the BS 5500, but only a single transformer and power supply. The RS 660 was Setton's top of the line receiver, with the RS 440 and RS 220 below it. Unfortunately, I do not yet have an RS 660, or any of the Setton receivers for that matter. So, I cannot comment on the overall preformance. I'm sure that it's nothing short of awesome though!
